When and How Disclosures Appear

On every page: A disclosure statement appears in the site footer accessible from every page on SnugGym.

On pages with affiliate links: A primary disclosure appears above the fold — within the first 20% of page scroll — on all pages containing affiliate product links.

Before affiliate links: A contextual disclosure appears immediately before the first affiliate link within article content.

Link attributes: All affiliate links include rel="sponsored" as required by Google for paid/affiliate links, and open in a new tab (target="_blank").

When you click an Amazon product link on SnugGym, your browser is directed to that product's Amazon page with our affiliate tracking tag (suggym0626-20) included in the URL.

If you make a purchase on Amazon within 24 hours of clicking that link (or add the item to your cart within 24 hours and complete the purchase within 89 days), Amazon pays SnugGym a small percentage of the sale price as a referral commission.

Important details:

  • The commission comes from Amazon's revenue, not from your payment
  • You pay the same price on Amazon whether you use our link or navigate directly
  • The affiliate tag does not affect the price, availability, or Prime eligibility of any product

Our Editorial Process Is Independent

Affiliate commissions do not determine which products we recommend. Our scoring rubric evaluates products on Space Efficiency (25%), Noise Level (20%), Build Quality (15%), Value (15%), Ease of Use (10%), Versatility (8%), Renter-Friendliness (4%), and Warranty (3%) — with no criteria for commission rate.

Products with lower commission rates (resistance bands at ~3%, foam rollers at ~3%) receive the same analytical rigor as products with higher rates (adjustable dumbbells at ~3%, cardio machines at ~3%). Amazon's commission structure varies by category but does not significantly influence individual product recommendations.
